Spring 2018 was my second semester in the M. ED. program. The Psychological Foundations of Education final research paper provided the opportunity to explore, evaluate, synthesize then apply the foundational knowledge of past and present theory to enhance learning and improve performance (AECT, 2012). The knowledge gained in this course assisted in applying learning theories to projects in subsequent classes.

In the Distance Learning course, we delved deeper into the meaning of distance education, how it is defined, theories and methodologies to assist in solving problems and enhance practice (AECT, 2012). A major topic of the course was motivation. The Motivation Final Project video discusses motivational theories and methodologies and describes ways to improve distance education to more fully engage learners.

The Instructional Design Plan completed in the Problems in Instructional Design for Computers course, highlights the main ideas explored. This assignments I collaborated with Desiree Henderson and Mike Thorton, For the assignment research was conducted concerning the use of smartphone photography by a participant pool. Professional and institutional guidelines and procedures were utilized to maintain the integrity of the project. Information was synthesized to create a learning module to enhance learning and improve smartphone photography skills.
